NOTRE DAME ARTICLE RE-DESIGN

I was tasked with doing an artistic redesign of a pre-existing article tackling it using three different methods. First through collage, then through typography alone, and finally a combination of the two.  I ended up choosing a National Geographic article on the rebuilding of the Notre Dame Cathedral. The article detailed the difficulties with the rebuild from initial fire to the beginnings of the restoration which was then stalled by the Covid-19 Pandemic. The final task was also finding a way to digitally host all versions on a website that helped bring together all three designs which can be seen in the prototype below.
